Australia Project

This 50 acre site, a former cattle ranch, is designed to house 40 horses, 20 in stalls attached to the indoor arena and another 20 in paddocks with run in sheds. Linda traveled to the site on the Mornington Peninsula to meet the client, walk the site, and meet with the planning department at the Shire, the local jurisdiction over the property. While in Mornington she prepared initial site designs and presented them to the jurisdiction. There were extensive requirements for environmental and archeological investigations.

The site design includes indoor and outdoor arenas sized for both jumping and dressage, a covered exerciser, round pen, parking for visitors and horse trailers, paddocks, shelters, pastures, riding trails and water storage.
